That was a very lovely welcome, Glasgow, and thank you for it. Liz Lochead and all! We’re back again at the end of February and we have another sterling line up for you. See you there?

Mine’s a whisky – a FREE whisky from new sponsors Ancnoc! There will be a complimentary glass for all ticket holders – now that IS nice, isn’t it?

and…LEO GLAISTER!

LeoPoetryChrisScott

[Leo just won the NLS Burns Night Slam, which only served to remind us how bloody marvellous he is. We immediately had to add him to the bill]

Do not trust Leo Glaister. His tongue is counterfeit silver and with it he will weedle his way deep into your heart and even deeper into your pockets. If you find yourself feeling at all attracted to him (and you will), beware – have a drink of water, step outside for a moment if you need to; whatever it takes to avoid his venomous charms. If you can keep your wits about you though, he’s worth listening to – some of his poems are actually rather good
