Hello dear pals, comrades, wonderful folk,

Look at those fresh faces! Way back when, in the mists of 2012, that was Rally & Broad. We always do love a bench.

Ladies and gentlefolk, this is our LAST EVER EDINBURGH CABARET. We have had such a glorious, generous, shining 4 years with Rally & Broad, and we would like to thank everyone who has sailed along with it, and helped to make it so special. Come help us see it off in fine style? Ah, go on…

And helping us to say au revoir, adieu and goodbye, these shining stunners…

‘We Could Be Heroes’ – Edinburgh

‘We Could Be Heroes’ – Friday 22nd April, The Bongo Club, Edinburgh. Tickets £6 on the door or £5 in advance here. With…Salena Godden! Supermoon! Tim Turnbull! Lucy Ribchester! Josephine Sillars!

1869

Put on your red shoes, you pretty things, and let’s dance with the sailors. We could be heroes. We can be heroes. April’s Rally & Broad is celebrating all of our heroes – not just Bowie, although we loved him dearly. Those leggings from Labyrinth were responsible for all sorts of awakenings chez Rally and chez Broad, not to mention a lifetime’s education in eyeshadow application. But sometimes, it’s time to raise a glass and salute our heroes, inspirations and aspirations…

Joining us onstage, all heroes in their own right!

Coorie-In Land, Hogmanay 2016.

Rally & Broad were delighted to be curating one of the Scot:Lands venues for 1st January 2016. A wonderful – and free – series of events that run on the cold, dreich afternoon of the first day of the New Year, providing solace, shelter, and beautiful, uplifting music, poetry, dance, performance art and more to the good peoples of Edinburgh and further afield. We themed our ‘land’ as ‘Coorie-In Land’ celebrating all things cosy and warm. Hence the pyjamas…

Our artists for the afternoon included Maud the Moth, Colin McGuire, Rachel Amey, Billy Liar, Skye Reynolds, A New International (Biff Smith and Caroline Evens), Calum Rodger and Hailey Beavis.

Also performing although not pictured as they were doing sterling work out in the Cafe space were performance artists Rose Ruane and Rebecca Green.
